From India. To Everywhere

IndiPort Overseas Traders is a merchant exporter and trader based in Maharashtra, India. We buy goods in the districts where they are produced, have them tested and graded to the standard the destination market requires, and handle the packing, inspection, documentation and customs work that gets them onto a ship.

We supply buyers overseas and businesses within India. Our range today is spices and fresh vegetables, and it grows as our sourcing network does.

How we work with you

  1. Enquiry and requirements

    You tell us the product, grade, quantity, destination and any standard you have to meet. Where a specification is unclear we ask before quoting rather than after.

  2. Quotation and proforma invoice

    You receive a quotation, then a proforma invoice setting out price, Incoterm, packing, lead time and payment terms.

  3. Purchase order confirmed

    You issue the purchase order and the payment terms are agreed in writing.

  4. Sourcing and lot selection

    We source the lot from a district known for that product, to your specification, and keep it earmarked while verification and testing are carried out.

  5. Testing and verification

    Samples are tested against the limits of your destination market. You receive the report before the shipment is packed.

  6. Packing and inspection

    The lot is packed and marked to your instruction and inspected before dispatch. Where you want an independent inspector, we arrange access and they attend at this stage.

  7. Documents, customs and insurance

    Export documentation is prepared and customs clearance is completed. Marine cargo insurance is arranged by us where the agreed terms place that with the seller, and to your own requirement where they do not.

  8. Shipment and after sales

    You receive the shipping documents once the container is loaded, and we stay contactable through to arrival. If something is wrong on landing, we work it through with you.
