Common questions

Are you a manufacturer or a trader?
We are a merchant exporter and trading house. We buy from producers, farmer groups and processors, and we carry the testing, grading, packing, documentation and shipping ourselves. Our method is set out on the How we source page.
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product and the packing, and it is stated on each product page. If you need a quantity below what is listed, tell us and we will look at what can be arranged.
Which ports do you ship from?
Mainly Nhava Sheva, also known as Jawaharlal Nehru Port, and Mundra. We use other ports where the route or the schedule suits a shipment better. The port is confirmed with your quotation.
Can you pack under our own brand?
Yes. We pack under your brand where you supply the artwork and the labelling requirements for your market. Label content has to meet the destination country's rules, and the packing and marking are confirmed with you before the order is confirmed.
What payment terms do you work with?
We work with letters of credit and with advance payment. A letter of credit is an undertaking from the buyer's bank to pay once the shipping documents are presented correctly, which gives both sides protection. Terms are agreed per order and set out in the proforma invoice.
What do your prices include?
Prices are quoted on agreed international trade terms, known as Incoterms, which set out who pays for freight and insurance and at which point responsibility passes from us to you. Two common ones are FOB, where our price covers everything up to loading at the Indian port, and CIF, where it also covers sea freight and insurance through to your port. The quotation states which term applies.
Do you supply within India as well?
Yes. We trade within India alongside exporting, using the same sourcing and quality method. Domestic orders are supplied on a tax invoice with GST, and delivery and payment terms are agreed per order.
