About this product
Our green chilli comes from Nandurbar, Solapur, Nashik and Warud in Maharashtra, where the crop is grown in successive cycles and picked through most of the year.
Chillies are sorted and graded at the packhouse nearest the field, pre-cooled, and packed into ventilated cartons with a perforated liner so moisture escapes rather than settling on the fruit.
G4 is the darker, firmer variety and holds its condition longer, which suits sea freight. Jwala is lighter and thinner skinned and is usually flown. Tell us the destination and the transit time and we will recommend the variety.
