Onion

About this product
Our onions come from Nashik in Maharashtra, India's main onion belt. The stored rabi crop is lifted from March and keeps for months, and the kharif crop comes in from October, so material is available for most of the year.
After lifting, onions are cured to dry the neck and the outer skins, then graded by size and packed into mesh bags at the packhouse.
The 40 to 60 mm grade is the most widely traded and suits general wholesale and retail. Larger and smaller grades are available. Tell us the size band and the skin colour your market expects and we will pack to it.
